This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.

Any type of forum/discussion board even joomla sites its allowed since it follows the above rules.
lionhost does not allow background Daemons such as IRC bots, eggdrop, BitchX, XiRCON and any other program that interferes with normal server operation. No warez is allowed. Web proxies are not tolerated. This includes NPH-Proxy, and web proxy. If your site is found to hold any proxy files, your account will be suspended and cancelled. Newsletters, email spam, are not allowed on the shared hosting servers.
lionhost's web hosting accounts are not to be used for the purposes of distributing software and multimedia products. If you wish to distribute software and/or multimedia files, please contact our sales for special arrangement.
File Usage and Storage
lionhost's web hosting accounts are not to be used for the purposes of distributing and/or storing an unusual amount of files. We are a web hosting service not a remote file storage service. Any web site whose disk space usage for storing the files exceed 50% of its total usage, either in terms of total size or number of files, will be deemed to be using unusual amount of files. At that point, if we find that those files are illegal or harmful in any way, you will be notified. If you do not have any negative intentions such as causing harm to our server or to others with the files you keep, then you have nothing to worry about. Our company does not want to place limitations at your resources. Any website on our shared servers that uses a high amount of server resources (CPU, memory usage, and network resources) will be given an option to pay for a dedicated server. The abuse and misuse of system resources is a serious problem, and lionhost does not tolerate it. Accounts on a shared server must be shared with other users, so you have to respect that. We cannot allow one or two clients to use all of the system resources on a shared machine and have all other clients suffer because of it. Excessive CPU & memory usage by one or more clients causes extreme slowness in all areas: MySQL, Email, HTTP and more. If the CPU & memory usage by a few clients gets out of hand, all sites hosted on the machine will return errors and not be accessible in any way.
Users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the lionhost's Network. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. Any attempt to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, “flooding”, “mail bombing” or “crashing”,will be canceled. Each hosting package purchased is unique to a do main name and use - you are not allowed to purchase multiple plans to obtain combined bandwidth & space. For the reseller packages you can create as many packages as your resources allow. In case that you need extra space and bandwidth contact the customer support even to allow you the unlimited process. We don't support free hosting since we pay a large amount of money to keep your servers steady and online

lionhost will monitor a single protocol on each system, to verify that the system is operational. The default protocol that is monitored is HTTP (Port 80), however, on systems that do not respond to such, monitoring is performed via another protocol. Available monitoring protocols are HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, and ICMP(PING). The customer may request that a specific protocol and port is monitored, rather than the default selection. Monitoring of multiple ports may be available at an additional cost. Maximum Admin. Fully Managed systems are monitored on multiple protocols, including custom protocols, and may be user-defined. If a server fails to respond to a monitored protocol, lionhost will manually attempt to check the status of the server via another protocol. lionhost will automatically reboot systems that fail to respond after a second tested protocol fails. If the second tested protocol responds properly, lionhost will attempt to log into the system to restore/restart service on the initial failed protocol that was being monitored. lionhost does not charge for reboots to any system on the network. It is the clients responsibility to update the root password, and inform us for the change , otherwise we will be unable to restore/restart failed monitored protocols automatically, and will not be held liable for failure to do such. It is the clients responsibility to keep access by lionhost's monitoring system ip addresses available to their system, and not blocked via firewall, and to notify us any time a port is changed on a monitored protocol or if a protocol disabled. Otherwise we will be unable to provide monitoring services, and will not be held liable for failure to do such.. In some circumstances, lionhost may override and change the root password to your system, in cases deems such necessary to correct an urgent issue.
